Pricing for Lessons

Group lessons: $119 school horse fee paid to Cevalo. - $80 Instructor fee paid separately to instructor. (combined total $199 month). Weekly 1-hour lessons/4 rides per month.  Open to riders 8 and up.

Semi-Private Lessons: $119 month school horse fee paid to Cevalo. - $130 Instructor fee paid separately to instructor. (combined total $249 month) Weekly 1-hour lessons/4 rides per month. Open to riders 8 and up.

Private Lessons; $119 school horse fee paid to Cevalo.  - $230 Instructor feed paid separately to instructor. (combined total $349/month).   Weekly 1-hour lessons/4 rides per month. Open to riders 8 and up.

Private 1/2-hour Lessons:  $60 school horse fee paid to Cevalo.  $112/month Instructor fee paid separately to instructor. (combined total $172).  Weekly 1/2-hour lessons/4-rides per month. Open to 6 and 7 year olds.

Pony Rides for 5 and under ½ hour :  $15 horse fee to Cevalo per lesson.  $15 Instructor/handler fee per lesson.

Additional weekly lessons:  $96 school horse fee paid to Cevalo.  Instructor fee remains the same as above.

  • Cevalo Membership required. 2-hour per month work requirement for students 8 and up.
  • Cevalo membership is required to participate in lessons and and other Cevalo student events and activities. Membership entitles you to access to the Cevalo facilities and participation in Cevalo events and activities. (Lesson and event fees are additional.)
  • Membership is not required to participate in horsemanship camps and private events such as badge days and birthday parties.
  • The quarterly membership fees are $25 per family. Membership fees are due on 1/1, 4/1, 7/1, and 10/1.
  • All members 8 and up are asked to perform at least 2 hours of volunteer work at Cevalo each month to help us care for the horses and our facilities and equipment. Not only is this an important part of learning true horsemanship, it's vital to Cevalo. Without everyone's help, Cevalo simply couldn't exist.
  • Lesson fees are non-refundable. If you can't make it to your lesson, let your instructor know as soon as possible. Make-ups are offered as long as you give at least 24-hour notice or miss a lesson due to extenuating circumstances. Make-ups should be scheduled within 30 days of the missed lesson and MUST be taken in addition to your regularly-scheduled lesson. You may not apply accrued make-ups toward lesson fees.
