How much does it cost?

The cost is $190 for up to 6 riders and $25 for each additional rider if there are more than 6. There is no charge for guests or chaperones who do not ride. Additional charges may apply for additional assistants or special demonstrations. (See What does the party include? for more information.)

What does the party include?

Parties include a 45 minute group lesson for participants 8 and up, or 5-10 minute individual lead-line lessons for 6 and 7 year olds. All parties also include a personalized barn tour and a hands-on introduction to working around the horses and grooming and tacking.

There's space in and around the barn to set up tables and chairs if you'd like to serve cake or food. You're welcome to arrive early to set up and decorate.

We can also arrange "join-up" or jumping demonstrations, horse-themed games and craft activities, or catering for an additional fee.

What clothing and equipment do our guests need?

Riders should wear comfortable long pants and sturdy, close-toed shoes or boots with a 1" heel. (If they already have a pair of Western boots, those are just fine, English riding boots are not required.) Cevalo provides loaner helmets for each rider, but riders are welcome to bring their own ASTM/SEI-certified equestrian helmet if they have one. (Bike helmets do not offer adequate protection and are not permitted.)

Parents and other guests should also wear sturdy, close-toed shoes or boots! Sandals, flip-flops, high-heels, etc. are not appropriate footwear for around the barn.

How do we sign up?

Complete the group signup form and we'll contact you to schedule your event. We'll need to know:

• The size of your group
• The age of the participants
• The timeframe for your event
• A little information about the guest of honor--favorite breed of horse, previous riding experience, favorite colors, etc.
• Any special requests or ideas for the party
